Flatbed Scanners

Sheetfed Scanners

Portable Scanners

These scanners are small manual scanning gadgets, which is stirred over the things or documents that need to be scanned. These scanners can be used in shopping stores.
Important Points to be considered before buying Scanners
I. Use
It is important to understand for what purpose, you want the scanner and how frequent you plan to use it. Whether,
· You want to scan only papers.
· You want to scan paper as well as films.
· You want use it once or twice a week.
· You want use it more than hundred times a day.
II. Scanning Speed
One of the main focal points of the scanners is the speed. Price of the scanners is generally directly proportional to its speed. However, you can look for the scanners depending on how you want to complete your scanning task.
III. Document feeder capacity
Document feeder has the capability to load sheets up to 1000 plus into the scanner. The capacity depends on your necessity. This lets you to load all your documents at once to be scanned and work automatically. Another major point of focus with the feeder is the minimum and maximum paper size. The scanner should handle both, if you want to scan a card or legal size paper.
IV. Warranty Service
There are two types of warranties provided by the manufacturers.
· Depot, in which you have to ship the scanner for warranty services.
· Most of the manufacturers provide onsite warranty services for a particular period of time. However, the time period varies from 30 days to a year.
V. Mode of Scanning
There are many scanners, which may scan both sides of the document. However, there are some long-lasting models, which scan only one side.
